Many students were alarmed due to what they saw on the news regarding fees for 2012 onwards, however the new system is more advantageous for the student. When it's said the tuition fees tripled, in practice this means 0 x 3, being 0 the amount of fees the student has to pay and 3 the duration of the course.
Depending on the University, the tuition fees may very between 7000 Pounds to 9000 Pounds per year. However, this amount is 100% subsidized by the English government to all European students. OK Student helps the student with the entire process of funding and up to now we have had 100% success.
From 2012 onwards the English state also provides support for foundation degrees and extra Grants for students with disabilities or students with direct dependents, for example children.
One of the major differences with the new tuition fee support system is the minimum salary for the repayment scheme. Students that initiated their course before 2012 will have to start repaying their tuition fee's grant when they reach a minimum salary of 16.000 Pounds per year, while students that initiate their courses in 2012 or after will only have to repay this amount if they reach a minimum salary of 21.000 Pounds per year.
The fees are subsidized to all European Students independently of their grades or their families financial condition.
The tuitions fees will only have to be repaid after you have completed your degree, started working and ONLY IF YOU EARN OVER 21.000 Pounds per year, approximately, 25.150 Euro per year. If the graduate does not reach the minimum salary or does not find a job he will NEVER HAVE TO REPAY ANYTHING! The following table demonstrates how much the student will have to pay and when:

If the student does not reach the minimum salary required for the repayment for 30 years he WILL NEVER HAVE TO REPAY this amount.
Ex: If the student can only find a job 3 years after he has completed his Degree and only if he is earning over 22.000 Pounds per year, then he will start with the monthly repayments.
