By formalizing the application, the applicant and/or their legal representatives are automatically accepting the terms and conditions of OK Student.
1. Rights and responsibilities of OK Student
OK Student is an intermediary between the student and the University to which you are applying, not being responsible for decisions made directly to and between both parties.
OK Student is responsible for application and reporting procedures for student admission registering, when it meets the conditions for admission to the specific University you are applying.
OK Student accepts submissions for Student Applications to other Universities other than those in direct partnership, although the process could be longer and / or more costly.
Once formalized enrollment, OK Student warrants the review and reports the data and corrections to be made by the applicant within a maximum of 1 working week.
Upon receipt of all documentation and corrections, OK Student warrants dispatch documentation to the University no later than 8 weeks, with no guarantee of timely response by the University.
OK Estduante's responsibility is to inform the candidate by e-mail, the conditions imposed by the University to which the student is applying, and changes that may exist.
OK Student is not responsible for any change to the legal terms that imply the cancellation or invalidation of the provision of service agreed.
Not being an institutional body OK Student is not responsible for changes in deadlines, fees, grants, financial support, admission requirements, vacancies, or any other matter that is the sole responsibility of the University which the candidate is applying to.
OK Student does not guarantee entry into the University.
OK Student is not responsible for any delay or failure of communication, which may exist by the University, and will always take all steps in its power to ensure that there is a rapid and constant communication with the institution to which the candidate is applying to.
OK Student privileges the contact by E-mail, telephone calls will not be made when there are updates or progress on University application processes.
OK Student is not responsible for problems related to E-mail accounts of applicants and their legal representatives.
OK Student limits its actions to the date in which the candidate receives the Unconditional Offer Letter by the University the student applied for, and is not responsible for the registration of the student.
OK Student is not responsible for any lost or stolen documents.
OK Student is not responsible for the lack of conditions the student fails to achieve.
OK Student is not responsible for academic performance of the candidate, or for failed deadlines established by the University.
OK Student is not responsible for the delivery of English exam IELTS, interview or portfolio.
OK Student ensures the supply and demand of alternatives in case the candidate is not admitted, reserving the right to charge a new registration fee.
OK Student limits its action to the candidacy of the student, not being responsible for answering any matter between the University and a candidate from the moment the applicant becomes a student of the University.
2. Information Provided
OK Student provides information for free on the provision of courses and Universities with which partnerships exist as well as their conditions for International students to apply.
OK Student's responsibility is to inform the applicants about the condition and status of their applications, existing contact and exchange of information with the University the student is applying to.
OK Student only gives information about scholarships and grants not having any power to influence decisions from the Universities and their departments.
OK Student is not responsible for any information or false or erroneous data provided by the candidate.
OK Student informs candidates about candidates from previous years and their experiences, not guaranteeing the same conditions and circumstances will happen to the current candidate.
By informing about the experience of former students and applicants and their conditions of study, livelihood, housing and other matters relating to a particular individual, OK Student is not guaranteeing the existence of the same or similar conditions to other individuals.
All information provided by OK Student is indicative.
3. Price and Packages
All applicants must pay the subscription, and OK Student will not process the application to the University until any irregularities exist in the payment.
Registration is considered valid when the payment is made and formalized by the candidate. It is mandatory to choose a package of those offered from OK Student. The conditions of each package are stated and described in the contract.
OK Student reserves the right to change its pricing where justified.
If there is no compliance within payment of amounts owed, OK Student reserves the right to cancel the registration.
OK Student reserves the right to charge extra fees on meetings, if they are unnecessary but still required by applicants and / or their representatives.
4. Amendments, Renewals and Cancellations
For each modification made by the candidate the process shall resume the timely response, and also adjustments can be made in price for renewal of registration, where applicable.
OK Student does not return the amounts paid by applicants who have not joined the University, whatever the reason, and reserves the right to revalidate enrollment without charge or make a new charge in the event of changing circumstances of candidacy.
OK Student assumes that students are applying of their own free will and have a conscience and responsibility to deal directly with the process of application, even in cases where the applicant is a minor.
OK Student does not refund the money from registration, forcing the candidate to have greater certainty of their choices and willingness to join a foreign University, the application fee charges won't be returned.
The student reserves the right to cancel the service under penalty of non-refund of the full registration fee, communicating by E-mail the reasons for cancellation or suspension.
5. Travel, Accommodation and Monitoring
TRAVEL
OK Student is not a student travel agency thus is not responsible for any travels arrangements.
OK Student is not responsible for delays, cancellations, lost luggage or other problems that may arise and which relate to the agency or airline.
OK Student is not responsible for feeding students during the trip.
ACCOMMODATION
The offer made by OK Student will be when possible, and subject to vacancies. Prices are charged by the entities responsible for the lease.
OK Student will always do the best to place the student in an accommodation which satisfies safety and proximity to the campus, not being responsible for the lack of them.
OK Student may help the candidate in the formalization of the lease, not having any responsibility to conditions in the contracts signed between the landlord and applicant.
OK Student establishes contacts with landlords, arranges accommodation according with the parameters of the candidates, being the sole responsibility of the communication of any irregularity directly to the landlord or the person who signed the lease.
OK Student assumes that the candidate is aware of its obligations as OWNER, showing a good conduct within the estate at all times, otherwise the candidate may damage relations between landlords and OK Student in the following academic year.
OK Student in not a real estate agency, thus, does not guarantee the best relationship between price and local conditions.
OK Student does not celebrate contracts for leases with students being student responsible for complying with all rules imposed by the operation and maintenance entity lessee.
OK Student is not responsible for the management of immovable property and leases.
OK Student is not intermediary between tenants and neighbors nor landlords.
OK Student is not responsible for securing and / or maintaining water, electricity, gas, heating, Internet, telephone or TV in the building.
OK Student is not responsible for inadequate accommodation.
MONITORING
OK Student does not guarantee transportation to the University, to England or to the home country.
6. Other services
OK Student does not guarantee work or a means to subsist.
